Wizard of Oz Headlines Annual Amherst PTA Play – April 20-23

AMHERST – The Amherst PTA is celebrating the 15 year anniversary of their original production of "the Wizard of Oz" by bringing it back for this year's annual play.  Every year the PTA puts on a play to fund-raise for the schools which brings out people from all ages within our community.  The play is the PTA's largest fundraiser and supports over 80% of the PTA budget which funds the enrichment programs and grants provided to the schools.

This year's performance of the Wizard of OZ is sure to be exceptional with an incredibly talented cast made up of 24 adults and 46 children 3rd grade and up from Amherst and the surrounding communities.   The show is scheduled for April 20th-23rd at Souhegan High School (offering both matinee and evening performances) and guarantees to be one you wont want to miss.

Be Part of the Magic that is Oz! April 20-23

The Amherst PTA presents its 65th production, The Wizard of Oz on April 20-23. Come and be part of the wonder and the magic that is story of Dorothy, her 3 wonderful friends, and the Emerald City with the Wonderful Wizard himself, in the merry old land of Oz. The cast and crew of more than 90 began rehearsals on January and are well on their way to performing a magical rendition of this renowned classic.
