Souhegan HS Music’s London/Paris Send-Off Concert Scheduled for April 11th

 On April 20th, the Souhegan High School Concert Band, Choir and Jazz Ensemble will leave for an 8-day performance tour to London and Paris. While in London, the SHS Tour Ensembles will do two performances as part of the St George’s Day Festival and get to tour London’s famous museums and landmarks. While in Paris, The SHS Tour Ensembles will do an outdoor bandstand concert and a special afternoon performance at La Madeleine Church.

As a “Thank You” to our great community, Directors Kim Whitehead, Carl Benevides and The Souhegan Tour Ensembles will perform a Special Concert on Tuesday April 11th at 7:00pm in the SHS Theater. This is a free concert and will feature several different styles of music by artists such as The Andrews Sisters, Duke Ellington, J.S. Bach, Amy Winehouse, Meghan Trainor, Gustav Holst, Stephen Foster and Queen.

Be Part of the Magic that is Oz! April 20-23

The Amherst PTA presents its 65th production, The Wizard of Oz on April 20-23. Come and be part of the wonder and the magic that is story of Dorothy, her 3 wonderful friends, and the Emerald City with the Wonderful Wizard himself, in the merry old land of Oz. The cast and crew of more than 90 began rehearsals on January and are well on their way to performing a magical rendition of this renowned classic.
